Inhale.
Exhale.
Repeat.

This fall, are you slowing down to notice the abundance around you? Have negative thoughts stopped you in your tracks? Does worry or wonder motivate your mind space?

I have found in my years of practice, writing about gratitude helps me remember to focus on what I have versus what is lacking.

Activity

Grab a journal, make 5 minutes at the same time every day, and write about your life. Make sure to bring it back to gratitude. Studies show that reflecting with an emphasis on gratitude can create a sense of contentment, probably related to the chemical serotonin.

Remember the times I overcame hard things has helped my confidence when anxiety wears it down.

Activity

Name your resilience out loud. What have you overcome? Remind yourself of your strength. Speak your strength into your self-concept.

Reply to share with us your favorite gratitude season mind-shifting activities.
