Flow and Grow Kids Yoga Teacher Trainees have been studying hard since early April of 2020 -- with discussion, experientials, reading, writing, drawing, small-group sharing, and more. They finish this evening, June 30th!
Trainee Ava Dussault brings to the cohort perspectives from other wellness-based movement disciplines, for adults and kids, and a wisdom beyond her years. See thisvideo on our Facebook page to hear about her experience with training!
Ava Dussault, Flow and Grow Kids Yoga Spring 2020 95-hour Teacher Trainee
As another way in, Ava also passed along a written testimonial:
The Flow and Grow Kids yoga 95-Hour yoga teacher training has been the best part of my summer. Last summer I actually took Lara’s Foundations of Kids Yoga Course, which is 18 hours of learning the foundations and basics of children’s yoga. I was so interested in learning more and was really excited when she offered the 95-hour training. Each week, we go on Zoom a few times and learn about a new topic, go in break out rooms, and hear wisdom from each other. It has been amazing hearing things from people that have been in this industry longer than I have. They give me tips for when I start working with children once I graduate.
I have learned so much from Lara -- from mindfulness tips to yoga to different things that we can do with kids and youth that is appropriate for each age and level. I feel more prepared than ever to teach after this. Lara also provides a lot of feedback for all the assignments that she assigns for each module. That really helps prepare you, and it makes you feel ready. I recommend this training so much, it is the greatest blessing I have had. I am so excited to continue working with Lara after this.
