Life can be busy, so I find that sometimes it’s difficult to keep track of my daily yoga practice. Did I meditate today? Did I rest? Did I show gratitude to myself, others and the world around me? In my crazy life, I find that using a Daily Practice Journal helps keep track of my practice.

By planning a daily practice, you can create a consistent routine in all aspects of your life – which can open and calm your mind. Sometimes, I find developing structure can lead to creating ease and happiness. It’s all about living in the moment, so here is a great tool that I use. Use this worksheet to write down and keep track of your daily practice. And what’s amazing is to see how your daily practice evolves and changes over time.

How to use the Daily Practice Journal

Every day, write in the Daily Practice Journal. Reflect on what activities you did. Try using the Daily Practice Journal for two weeks, and at the end of two weeks, reflect on your experiences of journaling. Talk about your journal with loved ones. Then you can decide if you want to continue using the Daily Practice Journal or discontinue it, but with the added benefit of developing healthier habits.
