What's it like to study with Flow and Grow Kids Yoga?! Part IV
June 23, 20202 min read
Flow and Grow Kids Yoga Teacher Trainees have been studying hard since early April of 2020 -- with discussion, experientials, reading, writing, drawing, small-group sharing, and more. They're now on the home stretch, finishing on June 30th!
Trainee Brittany Stockwell, the "Purple Violinist", has an extensive background in music and education. Check out her website! Brittany brings a unique perspective and an inquisitive spirit to every session. See this video on our Facebook page to hear about her experience with training!

As another way in, Brittany also passed along a written testimonial:
My name is Brittany, and I am a music teacher currently taking the 95-hour online kids yoga and mindfulness certification through Flow & Grow Kids Yoga -- with Lara Hocheiser! This certification has truly been a gift at this time. It has brought me into a community of inspiring and supportive individuals who I will forever be grateful for knowing.
Lara is a knowledgeable instructor with a very approachable teaching style. Her classes are engaging, and being able to re-watch any of the live classes later on has been super helpful. Her materials and content are simply priceless. I obsess a bit over curriculum, so I very much appreciate her inclusive lesson plans and detailed graphics included in both the manuals and lesson plans provided through the certification. Whether you're a parent or a teacher or simply work with children, I highly recommend signing up for this certification this summer."
We will also be doing a Live Q and A about our training, on Thursday, June 25th at 6 PM EST. A few Teacher Trainees (including Brittany) will share their experiences with training, and Teacher Trainer Lara Hocheiser will facilitate the discussion. We hope to see you there!
There's never a perfect time to deepen one's knowledge, practice, and what we can share with the next generation and the world -- why not now?
Email Teacher Trainer Lara Hocheiser at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, comments, questions, concerns, et cetera. We're here to help!
This week, we go over the Turtle Pose. Inspired by the patient turtle, this pose increases mental focus and stretches the arms, back, and legs. This pose looks like a turtle withdrawing into its shell!
