The holiday season can be busy and eventful. Take the time to slow down with your kids by learning new poses and getting into the spirit with a fun holiday craft. By taking the time to slow down we can relax and breathe.

We’re in the full swing of winter, so we’ve rounded up some of our favorite winter yoga and mindfulness activities!

Yoga -- including poses, movement, and breath work -- can help us to feel more balanced and grounded. Let's explore bumble bee breathing, airplane, and tree pose.

Snow Angel Pose (classical Savasana Pose) is a great way to find calm, cooling, or whatever our bodies may need. On one level, finding rest and stillness can help our bodies cool down in (try complimenting that effect with some cool water and dimming the lights!). On another, a restful pose like Snow Angel can allow us to visualize and imagine whatever might feel good for us in the present moment -- which could be making a snow angel on a beautiful snowy winter day!
